Cherie Thompson Davis:
Cherie T. Davis focuses exclusively on Family Law and is one of the most accomplished practitioners in the Tri-Valley area. Ms. Davis has been practicing Family Law for over twenty years and has been certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specializations in Family Law since 2001. She is licensed to practice before all California courts and has experience in every type of Family Law matter, including dissolution of marriage or domestic partnership, child and spousal support, child custody, and complex property division. Ms. Davis also has experience serving as a mediator and is available to serve as a private judge for parties who wish to avoid the protracted court system. She is a member of the Earl Warren Inn of Court, Alameda County Bar Association (ACBA), and the East Alameda County Bar Association (EALBA) and their family law sections.
Ms. Davis received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Santa Clara University School of Law in 1989, where she received recognition for academic excellence and was a member of the School of Law's Moot Court. She is a life-long Bay Area resident and attended California State University - East Bay, where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, movies, and walking her dogs.
Nataly DiCortasso:
Nataly DiCortasso is an Associate Attorney with The Law Offices of Cherie T. Davis. Ms. DiCortasso handles all aspects of probate, trust and estates, and family law matters. Ms. DiCortasso is a member of the Alameda County Bar Association, Contra Costa County Bar Association, East Bay Trusts and Estates Lawyers, and Robert McGrath American Inn of Court.
Ms. DiCortasso received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from John F. Kennedy College of Law. While at JFK, she was regularly named to the Dean's List for superior academic achievement and was the recipient of the prestigious College of Law Award for Academic Achievement. Prior to law school, she attended U.C. Berkeley and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. In her rare free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her friends and family.
Milla Benavidez:
Milla Benavidez has been a legal assistant with the Law Offices of Cherie T. Davis since 2021. Milla assists Ms. Davis and staff attorneys in all aspects of Family Law practice, and handles client communication, case calendaring, and document preparation, production, and analysis. Milla is the also the first point of contact for questions about the status of a case or billing.
Milla is originally from Finland, and has been a Tri-Valley resident since 2014. In her free time she enjoys hikes with her dog, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
